Author Talk: Teri Anderholm "Inn Mates" (2023)

Join us at the Ellsworth Public Library for an author talk and Q&A session with Teri Anderholm about her debut book, Inn Mates: An Innkeeper’s Memoir.

Inn Mates is a lively chronicle about Teri and her husband Jeff who ditched their corporate careers in Boston and bought a distressed, down-at-the-heels inn in Bar Harbor.  Creative chaos ensued before it was transformed into one of the top luxury inns in New England.  The inn was a passion, sometimes a prison, while offering 5-star hospitality to a parade of guests who taught them lessons of gratitude, humility, love and laughter in the midst of life’s hurricanes.

Copies of her book will be available for sale (cash or card only). This is an after-hours program; library services will be unavailable.

“Hugely entertaining! Brightly written and full of eye-popping tales of human frailty and hubris, this memoir reads like a suspense novel. I couldn’t put it down.”
—Monica Wood, author of The One-in-a-Million Boy, When We Were the Kennedys, and Any Bitter Thing
