ELLSWORTH – July 1, 2024 – The Ellsworth Public Library is excited to invite the community to participate in their Space Planning Survey to gather valuable insights from the community. The library, which is housed in the iconic Tisdale House, is embarking on a new renovation project to improve patrons’ experiences at the library. The focus is on adding square footage without major building expansion. To adjust to the growing needs of its staff and the community, input from users will be crucial to creating a space that meets the diverse needs of all the library’s patrons and visitors. It is the library’s goal to maintain and extend its role as a vibrant, inclusive, and functional community hub.
The library wants to hear from frequent visitors, occasional users, or first-time guests alike.
The survey will be open to the public all throughout July and will close on Wednesday, July 31.
There will be a public planning meeting at the library on August 13 at 6:30 PM.
